Oscar Cleaven

A special in this morning's Inter-Ocean shows that Oscar Cleaven, after playing billards all day Tuesday last at Wanatah, left there at night upon a train for Morgan Station where he was employed at farm work, and when near the latter place jumped from the train in motion, and by falling struck and crushed his head upon a cattle guard, which caused his death upon the spot, but he was not discovered until next morning, when he evidently had been dead a good while. He was 35 years old, and came from Louisville, Ky.
