PORTAGE TOWNSHIP.
A man named Chelstrom was killed at Tolleston last week and came near being buried without being identified, although the family lived in Lake. They supposed him in Chicago, and he had no papers of any kind on him except an old pawn ticket with the number of a Chicago pawnbroker. By telegraphing information was gleaned leading to his identification.
