C. A. Challman

MONDAY.
A laborer named C. A. Challman in Purington's brick yard at Chesterton was caught in the machinery and revolved with awful rapidity around a shaft until the motion was reduced by shutting off the power. He was dead and shockingly mangled, one leg having been torn literally off. His funeral took place in Chesterton Saturday and was largely attended by sympathizing friends.
