Nona Carver

Killed.
One of those sad occurences that mar the record of human life and well nigh burst the cords of human affection occurred, Tuesday evening in the suburbs of our city near the residence of Mr. John Carver, whose eight year old daughter, Nona, while riding a load of logs drawn by Hubert Younglove's team, fell off and was run over. She was still alive when taken up but died the following morning. The tolling of the St. Paul's bell announced the death and that another young life had passed into eternity. The funeral took place this morning at 10 a. m. from St. Paul's church.
