Mary Lucretia Campbell

OBITUARY.
PERKINS. -- At the residence of her mother, in Valparaiso, Ind., on Tuesday, May 6, 1879, of tubercular consumption, Mrs. Mary Lucretia Perkins, in the 37th year of her age.

Mrs. Perkins was the eldest child of the late T. A. E. Campbell and Mrs. Campbell. She was born in Valparaiso, June 19th, 1842, and passed all her life in this place. She was the mother of seven children, two of whom died in infancy, and five are yet living. She suffered much from ill health. During the past winter she confessed her faith in Jesus Christ, and was received as a member of the Presbyterian church of this place, having for some time entertained a hope of her acceptance through Him. During her protracted and painful illness she committed herself and children into the hands of the all-sufficient Savior, and at length departed to be with Him.
