Died, on the 16 inst., after a short illness, Mrs. Elizabeth Byers, aged 58 years and 5 months. She was married to Peter Edmonds in 1849. He died in the army in 1865. Mrs. Byers was married to Jacob Byers in 1870. They settled from Ohio in 1881 and settled near Deep River. About three years ago Mr. Byer sold his farm near Deep River, and bought property here. Mrs. Byers has been a member of the M. E. church something over 30 years, and died strong in the faith that she was going to a better country where the inhabitants are never sick. She leaves a husband, family, and a large circle of friends to mourn her loss.
