Peter Morley Burrows

PORTER POINTERS.
The funeral services of Peter Morley Burrows, who was killed by a Michigan Central train, was held Monday afternoon Nov. 11. Portions of scripture were read and prayer offered at the home of the deceased, after which the remains were taken to Furnessville church where the funeral services were continued. Rev. Richard Smith conducted the services. The text was taken from Psalm 103: 15, 16. The altar of the church was nicely decorated with plants and flowers by the unfortunate one's friends, who also paid the expenses, which speaks well for the departed, as well as for his associates who mourn his loss. The church was crowded with sympathizers. Peter Morley Burrows was born at Bryan Hill, Michigan, February 19, 1877. For several years he worked for Mr. Furness.
