John Brown

CHESTERTON CHIPS
Word was received here Tuesday that John, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown had died at 2 o'clock that morning at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Brown had been ill with lung fever and pneumonia during the winter, and had apparently recovered. A short time ago he took a relapse, which ended with his death. On receipt of the news, a half-brother, Sam Young, left from Texas for Utah to the remains to his Chesterton home, but it is not yet known what will be done until Mr. Brown's wife has made a decision. The deceased was 41 years old, but had no children. He was raised in Chesterton, and was a schoolmate at St. Paul's, of this writer. His death has greatly shocked his parents, and the blow is a serious one to his feeble old mother.
