PORTER POINTERS.
The funeral services of Mrs. Emiline Brodie was held at the Presbyterian church last Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and was one of the largest ever held in Valparaiso.
Chaplain Xanders, of the Michigan City prison, read the lesson and was followed by Rev. J. B. Fleming with the eloquent discourse.
The floral offerings were many and beautiful. Quite a number from a distance were in attendance.
