Mary Bell

COUNTY SEAT NEWS.
Last Saturday afternoon this city was startled by the report that Miss Mary Bell had committed suicide. She was about sixteen years of age and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Bell of Tassinong. She was a popular member of the High school and boarded with the family of her uncle Russel Stoner. Her parents were in town Saturday and when they had finished dinner Mary arose, went into an adjoining room, took a revolver, place it against her breast and fired. She died instantly.
