Died on the 24th inst. at the residence of her husband eight miles north-east of Valparaiso, Mary, wife of Lyman Beech, in the 67th year of her age.

Mary Billings, the deceased, was born in Union county, this state, May 19th, 1816, where she lived until 1835 when she came with her parents to Porter county. She was married to Lyman Beech in 1842 with whom she lived on the home farm until her death. In her early years she united with the Methodist church of which she remained an honored member until her death.
