A Veteran Editor Dead.
Archibald Beal, manager, secretary and treasurer of the Laporte Printing Cp., publishers of the Daily and Weekly Herald, died Tuesday morning of a complication of diseases, aged 66 years and 5 months. The deceased was one of the oldest editors in Northern Indiana, having been in the newspaper business continuously for over forty years. He has been the managing editor of the Herald for the past fifteen years.
