Lyman Beach
NEWS OF THE WEEK.
Lyman Beach, a Porter county pioneer, is dead. He died at his home in Jackson township on Sept. 13th of old age. He had reached the advanced age of 91 years, 4 months, and 1 day. He was the father of Edmond Beach, the present trustee of Jackson township, and was highly respected by all who knew him. The funeral took place from the residence of his son on Sept. 15, Rev. Martin, of Valparaiso, officiating, and the remains buried in the Luther cemetery.
