Jerome Baum

DIED.
Died, at his residence on Morgan township, Porter county, Indiana, on October 29th, 1882, Mr. Jerome Baum, in the 31st year of his age. Death came suddenly, he having no warning of his coming departure from earth. His family found him as if asleep, life having fled. He had been a sufferer for a number of years from rheumatism and hemorrhage of the lungs, which terminated in disease of the heart. Mr. Baum left a wife and two children, a mother, four sisters and two brothers, all of whom, except one brother, are residents of Porter county. The funeral services were conducted at the Morgan Prairie church by the Rev. Carter, of the Christian church of Hebron, on the 31st inst., at 11 o'clock. The remains were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of relatives and friends, of which he had many, and were interred in the Adams cemetery near the residence of the deceased.
