John Basher

John Basher, near Gate's Corners, probably the oldes inhabitant of the county, who received injuries some weeks ago by falling upon the ice died yesterday, aged 86. He was a soldier of Bonaparte in the battle of Waterloo. He came from Lake county six or seven years ago, and has been a resident of the state many years. His funeral will take place tomorrow at 10 o'clock at Gate's Corners; sermon to be preached by a minister from Ohio.
