William Elsworth Barnard

THE COUNTY.
JACKSON TOWNSHIP.
William Elsworth, youngest son of Nelson and Mary Jane Barnard, departed this life on Tuesday morning, Feb. 11, 1879, at four o'clock, age 15 years, 4 months and 18 days. Deceased was taken sick with typhoid fever about three weeks ago, and his suffering was very great from that time until death. A power stronger than that of man has taken his youth from our midst, just as he was entering into the pleasure of life, thus warning others that their time will come sooner or later. He was a kind and obliging boy, and always at peace with his associates. He leaves a father, mother, one brother and one sister to mourn his loss.
