Leopold Ballard

HEARS OF FATHER'S DEATH SOON AFTER ARRIVING HERE
(From Monday's Daily)

Only a few hours after she had arrived in this city to visit for a few days, Miss Anna Ballard received the shocking news that her father, Leopold Ballard, had died suddenly in Evanston. Miss Ballard and her sister, Mrs. Henry Pinter, left for there last evening. Miss Ballard came here Saturday night, and her father had carried her grip to the station for her. He was in a good state of health. Further details of the death are awaited here by Henry Pinter, who will go to Evanston for the funeral.

Mr. Ballard was about 65 years old. He had visited here many times and had made friends about the city. He is survived by Mrs. Ballard, and two daughters and one son besides the two daughters mentioned in the foregoing.
