Late Hebron Coach Killed In Battle

Sergeant Lewis Henry, former Hebron high school ---?--- and athletic coach recently reported missing in action somewhere in Italy, is believed to have been killed in action.

According to Mrs. Henry, his wife, now living in Kendallville, Ind., unofficial word of his death has been received from ---?--- Barber, a friend of Sergeant Henry, who saw him leave on his last bombing mission.

Barber's letter to Mrs. Henry stated that the plane on which Sergeant Henry was a gunner was hit while in the air and exploded. Apparently none of the bomber's crew were saved.

Mrs. Henry on December 20 last received a telegram from the war department informing her that her husband was missing in action.
