The Strong Cemetery was developed as a private family cemetery and is located
north of 100 North and east of County Line Road (southwest quarter of the
southwest quarter of Section 27). Osson Strong owned the west one-half of the
southwest quarter of Section 27 in 1876.
According to information from the Northwest Indiana Genealogical Society, there
were four children of Osson and Emeline (Cadwell) Strong buried in unmarked
graves at this cemetery.
