THE FAMILY OF MR. & MRS. GEORGE BEARSS

Mr. George L. Bearss and Estella M. Shoup were married March 19, 1906 in Valparaiso, Ind. He was a graduate of Valparaiso High School and attended Valparaiso University. Mr. Bearss was a farmer in Porter Township during his lifetime, now deceased April 12, 1941. Mrs. Bearss is presently residing at Whispering Pines.

Their son, Carlton married Edith Reif October 14, 1933. He was a graduate of Valparaiso High School and was a farmer and electrician. His wife graduated from Boone Grove High School and from Valparaiso University with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught in the Pleasant, Porter and Center Township Schools.

There are three daughters in this family. Anita married Daniel Buibish and they are the parents of Diann, David and Danita (Mrs. Glen Ford) and grandparents of Daniel Glen Ford.

Miss Nancy Bearss, a graduate of Ball State University, who resides and teaches in Las Alamos, New Mexico.

Janet, who is married to Russell Bowen. They are the parents of a son, Jeremy. She is a graduate of Ball State University and is employed at the City Library in Anderson, Indiana.
