John Gustafson

John Gustafson is at this writin, (Monday evening) lying at the point of death. About a week ago he was taken down with measles, and shortly after brain fever set in, which greatly aggravated his case. Dr. Beer, of Valparaiso, who attended him said there was no hope, but Dr. Miller has been staying with him almost night and day, and hopes to pull him through. The people of the community are very anxious for his recovery, as he was a leading citizen and an estimable neighbor.
Later. Mr. Gustafson died Tuesday night.
