Remark: Though not indicated on either the front or reverse of this postcard, it is believed that this is a photograph of the 1914 Labor Day parade in Valparaiso based on similar known photographs of the parade where the flags are in the identical position. This photograph was taken looking east down Main Street (Lincolnway) from Washington Street. Signs visible on the buildings include H. S. Herrick's Groceries, Fruits, and Vegetables; Rockwell and Stockman, Lawyers; F. R. Marine, Lawyer.
