Remark: The Bank of Kouts building was constructed in 1903 and still stands [2019] at the northeast corner of present day Railroad Street and Main Street (Indiana State Road 49), operating as the 1st Source Bank. The building's appearance today looks nearly as it did when this photograph was taken.
