Remark: Dille and Morgan was a hardware and building materials retailer in Chesterton. The business was owned and operated by John Dille and Bennett Morgan. Morgan purchased Dille's share of the business in 1922 and renamed the business Morgan Hardware. Morgan's son, Robert, would continue the business into the 1970s when he sold it to Bill and Norma Scobey, who in turn sold the business to Hugh and Eva Hopkins.
