June -- Flowers greenish or white. Berried red. Nova Scotia to Georgia and westward. Common in sandy soil in Indiana Dune National Lakeshore.
HAZEL HANNELL, painter and potter, moved from Chicago to Indiana and has been involved there in local art activities and working in the Save the Dunes Council toward the establishment of the National Lakeshore Park. She has recorded in block prints many of the native wild flowers of which this is an example.
